Dear Community Members Salam,
As per the provincial guidelines, effective October 25, 2021 at 12:01 a.m, locations where a wedding, funeral or religious service, rite or ceremony takes place can implement proof of vaccination requirements for services, rites, or ceremonies at the location which will allow the setting to lift capacity limits and physical distancing requirements if they choose to require proof of vaccination. The Muslim Society of Guelph has decided to implement the proof of vaccination for the Friday prayers and remove the registration requirement.

There will be absolutely no entry at First Friday Prayers for those who are not fully vaccinated as we will not have any social distancing for the first Friday prayers. If you are not fully vaccinated then please attend the second prayers where a separate area will be provided.
InshaAllah from last Friday (October 29, 2021) there are only two Friday prayers as per the following schedule;
First Friday Prayers:
1:00 pm to 1:20 pm arrival and registration (Kindly have the proof of vaccination available on your phone or paper)
1:15 pm Khutbah
1:35 pm Iqama
Second Friday Prayers:
2:25 pm to 2:40 pm arrival and registration (Kindly have the proof of vaccination available on your phone or paper)
2:40 pm Khutbah
2:55 pm Iqama
Please arrive early and have proof of vaccination readily available for our volunteers to scan the QR code.
