The Management of Muslim Society of Guelph would like to extend their heartiest congratulation to those who are performing Hajj this year. InshaAllah from Thursday July 7, 2022 Days of Hajj begins (8th to 12th Zul Hijjah). The Day of Arafah this year is set to Friday, July 8, 2022 InshaAllah. This is the time to say Inshallah Hajj Mabarak to all who are making Hajj this year. We pray to Allah to accept their efforts and bring them back home safely Ameen. EID Al ADHA will be celebrated on SATURDAY, July 9, 2022 InshaAllah.
Every Muslim is aware of the blessings of day of Arafah. The Prophet (sws) is reported to have said that if a person fasts on this day then hopefully the Almighty will forgive his previous and next year’s sins. [Bukhārī, No: 1902; Muslim, No: 1162.]

FIRST PRAYERS (inside the masjid)
- Takbeerat and arrival at: 7:00 AM
- Brief talk on Hajj by Imam Khaled Salim at: 7:15 AM
- Salat Starts at 7:30 AM
SECOND PRAYERS (outside for Brothers and inside for Sisters)
- Takbeerat and arrival at: 8:30 AM (please bring your own prayer mats)
- Brief talk on Hajj & Qurbani by Imam Mubeen Butt and Dr. Jibran Khokhar at: 9:00 AM
- Construction update and community messages: 9:30 AM
- Salat Starts at 9:45 AM
InshaAllah this year MSOG has organized to have Ice Cream truck and food stalls for the families to enjoy. World Renowned Nasheed Artist Ilyas Mao will be performing live after the Eid prayers. Since it is Day of Eid and we are allowed to celebrate together we encourage everyone to join with their extended family and spent all morning with your friends and community.
Please arrive on time to begin Salah on time. Kindly note, we will NOT be delaying prayers for those who are coming late. We humbly request everyone to be on time as it is a day of slaughter and many people needs to be at farm for Qurbani.
